Software Developer

- Design and implement functional backend modules using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to contribute to system architecture and database schema design.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Manage and optimize queries across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Maintain and refine search indexing and retrieval processes using Elasticsearch.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.
- Use Postman for thorough API validation and DBeaver for efficient database management.
- Support the integration of backend services with our frontend and mobile applications.
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong experience building and maintaining server-side applications with Java.
- Proven proficiency with Spring Boot, including Spring Security and Spring Data.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch for indexing and search optimization.
- Practical knowledge of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Expert use of IntelliJ IDEA for development, debugging, and testing.
- Experience with version control systems and a clear understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile/Scrum team.
- Proficient in using AI-driven development tools such as Cursor, Kiro, or Antigravity and AI-enhanced terminals like Warp with Codex CLI to improve coding efficiency and SQL optimization.
- BSc. in CSE / CS / SE / EEE or any related discipline.
- Additional certifications are a plus but not required.
